What We Believe and Teach.

 

GOD: There is only one true God, the Triune God in three persons of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19,  John 5:23)

 

THE STATUS OF ALL PEOPLE: Through sin, everyone has fallen short of God's expectations. A just and hol God cannot ignore our sin. His identiy, integrity, and credibility are at stake. Without another plan, our sins condemn us to eternal punishment. (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, 1 Corinithians 2:14, and Ephesians 2:1)

 

GOD'S PLAN OF SALVATION: Out of love for all mankind, God sent His son Jesus to be punished in our place. Through faith in Him, we are made "right" with God, and become heirs of eternal life in heaven. This plan is the source of true happiniess and peace. (John 3:16, Romans 3:22-24)

 

 

About Our Church Body

 

Our Savior's Lutheran Church is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). The WELS is a world-wide church with congregations in all 50 states as well as Canada. The WELS also serves over 25 countries through world mission work.

 

Our congregation and church body are solidly based on the foundation of the Bible. We believe that Jesus is our Savior and the only way to heaven. Through faith in Jesus we are united to him and each other.

 

The name "Lutheran" comes from the great reformer Martin Luther. In a period in history when the Church had lost sight of its Savior and the truth of his Word, Martin Luther boldly challenged these errors and preached Jesus Christ as Savior. We ae proud to remember his work in bringing to light the truth of God's Word by using his name to identify ourselves.
