Basic Bible Christianity

A Study in the Truths of the Christian Faith

Basic Bible Christianity is a 15-lesson Bible information course that offers a basic Bible Doctrine Course for both members and those interested in learning the basic truths of the Bible and possible membership in our congregation.
Sunday School/Bible Class

Each Sunday we offer Sunday School for children. This is done during the regular church service. We call it "Kingdom Kids", connecting kids to Christ. This is an opportunity for children to learn God's Word in a "kids" way, just for them!  In addition, Pastor also will have a "Children's Talk" during the worship service, where he will use real life examples to share God's Word for the children to relate to.

Each Sunday, after the worship service, we offer Bible Class to all.

Please join us.

What to Expect at Worship

Every church has its own style of worship. We think you'll enjoy the services at Our Savior's, but as in any church, you should expect it to take a couple of Sundays to become accustomed to our way of praising God and proclaiming what He has done.

Each week the service is printed in the worship folder. All the Scripture readings, hymns, and prayers are printed there for you. You are certainly welcome to bring along your own Bible and follow along there if you choose, too.

Our services focus on readings from the Bible which focus on the life of Christ and our current life as Christians. All sermons, hymns, prayers, music, and singing revolve around the Scripture readings each week. Music certainly is an important part of our services. Loud or soft, in monotone or rich harmony, all our praises are music to God as we respond to hearing HIs Word. Perhaps you'll even remember a favorite hymn or song to ask our pastor to use in an upcoming service!

When pondering God's love for us and our opportunity to praise and thank Him for that love, we recall the words of the Psalm writer: "I rejoiced with those who said to me, 'Let us go to the house of the Lord'".
